Professor Md. Nazrul Islam is a distinguished scholar in
political studies with a PhD from Nanyang Technological
University (NTU), Singapore. He has authored 42+ research
articles and book chapters in leading international journals
and books, focusing on political Islam, governance, environmental politics, and the socioeconomic
conditions of marginalized communities, particularly Bangladesh’s tea workers.
His works include the book Islam and Democracy in South Asia: The Case of Bangladesh
(Palgrave Macmillan, 2020), with forthcoming titles on political management, intra-party
factionalism, and secularism in Bangladesh.
Md. Enayetullah Khan Eusufzee is an Environmental, Social, and Climate Resilient Expert with over three decades of experience in government, international organizations, and consultancy. He has served as Director in multiple ministries, Project Director of major infrastructure initiatives, Specialist Advisor with CARE Bangladesh, and Senior Consultant with IRISC. His expertise spans climate resilience, environmental management, governance, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and disaster risk reduction. He has led policy reforms, large-scale project planning, feasibility studies, and capacity-building programs. With advanced training from Duke University and the University of Alabama, he combines global knowledge with local experience to drive sustainable development.

He has served as Director at the Department of Environment and the Bangladesh Climate Change Trust, Deputy Managing Director at PKSF, and led Bangladesh’s climate finance negotiations under the UNFCCC and LDC group. He contributed to NAPA, NAP, NDCs, BCCSAP, and multiple GCF projects, while authoring key climate finance guidelines and publications. An experienced consultant, negotiator, trainer, and academic, he continues to advise nationally and internationally on climate resilience, policy, and finance.
