Qazi Farzana Afrin, with a PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Islamic Studies at Dhaka University. Her research revolves around Islam, women, and human well-being. She published several journal articles. Using the Islamic discourse of empowerment, a young researcher, Qazi Farzana Afrin, advocates for promoting women’s active role in society and addressing the critical challenges of violence against women. She also strives hard to break the social stereotype regarding women’s marginalized social and political roles.
