At the heart of ASEAB’s existence is creating economic and livelihood opportunities for marginalized people. It is evident that poor people continue to be inflicted by poverty and cannot realize their potential due to the lack of sustainable income. Without meaningful employment and economic opportunities, poor people also fail to get healthcare and afford education for children and languish in the vicious cycle of poverty. Thus, in order to reverse the conditions, ASEAB undertook several projects to ensure a decent life for poor people by creating income opportunities and building productive assets. Women and highly vulnerable people get preference in livelihood projects.
